Position Title: Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Tech Advisor
Duty Station: Kathmandu with frequent visits to the field.

ACCOUNTABILITY
REPORTS DIRECTLY T
O: Director of Programs


WORKS DIRECTLY WITH: MEL Coordinator, Country Director, Director of Programs, Program
Managers, all program staff, and Admin/ Logistics Officers.


KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
● A Master's degree in evaluation, statistics, business, economics, development or related field.
● Minimum 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation within the development sector,
specifically:
o Experience with quantitative, qualitative, and participatory research methods
o Knowledge of data management and data analysis
o Knowledge of project design, including project logical frameworks
● Ability to present in front of groups, including presentations, orientations, meetings, and conducting
trainings.
● Strong writing skills.
● Strong computer and software skills, including MS Office, statistical packages STATA,SPSS, database
software, data visualization platforms like tableau, and mapping software like GIS

● A strong aptitude to research and learn new software platforms and technologies for data
collection, management, analysis, utilization, and presentation.
● Strong team coordination, listening, and consensus building skills.
● Excellent oral and written English skills.
