Job Description


  • Bachelor degree in Agriculture/livestock production and Natural resource management. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least five years of experience with community-based program, climate change and sustainable livelihood
  • Experience working with local NGO, government officials and integrating them into program implementation.
  • Experience in building capacity of diverse team. Strong skill on training design and facilitation.
  • Ability to search different resources to develop innovative approaches.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to remote areas.
  • Competence riding a motorbike preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in complex environments under tight deadlines. Previous experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills required with demonstrated experience in strategic planning and the ability to work independently.
  • Good computer skills, including preliminary research and information gathering from the internet, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint preparation is required.
  • Strong written and oral presentation and communication skills in both English and Nepali required, including report development, writing, and editing.
