Requirements:
Age: Below 40 years
Education: Must be a graduate or Vocational Certificate in any recognised field. Preference will be given to Hotel Management graduate from a recognized Hotel Management institution.
Experience: 5-7 years' experience as Kitchen Stewarding In-charge/Supervisor, with at least 4 year in a supervisory capacity in a five star hotel, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge/Abilities: Manager/Asst. Manager - Kitchen Stewarding manages the cleanliness and maintenance of al F&B equipment in used and in store. S/he is responsible to establish and maintain high sanitation standards in al food preparation area, Sets standards in cleaning procedure, store keeper in line with company policies. Handles administrative works and keeps up-dated files on the Stewarding matters concerning Finance, Standards, Training, Outlets, Meetings etc.; Determines the minimum and maximum stocks and controls the par-stocks of all material and equipment; Liaise with the Purchasing Manager and suppliers for any purchase needed for the stewarding operation; Conducts inventories in coordination with employees of the accounting division; Manages all functions of the Stewarding operation to achieve the optimum departmental costs;Contrds and analyzes, on an on-going basis, the level of Costs, Breakage, Quality of support provided to other sections; Condition and deadness of facilities and equipment; Guest satisfaction and keeps aware of trends, systems, practices and equipment in food and beverage through trade literature, hotel show and site visits.
