To support the Sisters for Sisters’ Education in Nepal project by leading on Communication and Knowledge Management for the project. Produce visibility materials (e.g. video documentary) to promote the project. Collect training materials documenting teachers’ trainings, particularly the use of “low cost/no cost” resources, and develop a manual for teachers’ use. Support in identifying and documenting “good practices”, and assist in the development of case studies of the project. S/he will also be responsible to write articles that would promote the project in the country and internationally and coordinate with media for the project visibility. Build capacity of partners to strengthen communication and documentation and ensure consistent messaging during dissemination of information. |
Master’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Education or relevant field with at least 5 years work experience in communication and knowledge management. Very good understanding of developing communication media. Good background on case study development. Ability to analyses information, evaluate options, and follow the strategic directions as guided. Capable of applying his/her skills and knowledge in a range of capacities, including direct implementation, advisory functions, training and the transfer of technical skills to others. You must be Nepali citizen. |
