Analyzing data to identify agricultural-related gaps, determining priority with subsequent action plan
Training available resources on improved farming techniques, mechanization, inputs etc
Estimating area and production of maize, compilation of agricultural statistics, optimizing cost of cultivation etc.
Managing, developing and supervising the Company’s farming land to ensure the productivity
Researching on various available Government schemes/subsidies and how to access them, identify opportunities to leverage and integrate existing schemes into project activities to maximize the impact of the project and drive project sustainability
Job Specification
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous work experience with NGOs and private sector would be a strong asset
Strong communication, interpersonal, community level facilitation and coordination skills
Budget and financial management, training need assessment and training facilitation
Willingness to work in rural/marginal areas, ability to work with minimum supervision
Experience of project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from reputed University
