United World Schools, Nepal is a Nepal based charity dedicated to improve educational opportunities for the poor and marginalized children of the country. The major objective of UWS, Nepal is to construct and manage state-of-the-art facility in community-led schools of rural areas so that the children feel safe and encouraged to study. Since buildings are not enough for learning to take place, UWS also provides basic resources to the children and sends well-trained teachers and teaching fellows to teach in such areas under its new program, UWS Nepal Teaching Fellowship.
The quality of education is maintained by formulating a curriculum and introducing advanced technologies that allow for greater innovation in the classroom and greater engagement between the lessons in class and real life. UWS, Nepal also invests in education of girls from marginalized communities in order to empower young women to create better prospects for themselves and their families in the future.
United World Schools, Nepal was initiated in 2015 as a non-profit organization to provide quality education in rural Nepal, where education is desperately needed, through modern teaching and learning methodology. Since our inception, we have successfully constructed 28 schools buildings in Sankhuwasabha and Gulmi district ensuring quality education for over 3500 students. We aim to construct 35 school buildings by the end of 2019.
