Job Description

 

  • To visit and monitor fellowship and school projects, supporting the work of the Fellowship Coordinator

  • To coordinate UWS Nepal teaching fellows training, including working with Fellowship Coordinator, UWS Nepal Fellows and UWS Nepal local and government teachers.

  • To manage the further development, implementation and successful delivery of the UWS Nepal teaching fellowship program 2019, supporting all of UWS Nepal's work as required in order to optimise the UWS Nepal contribution towards improving education in remote and marginalized communities.

  • Communicate regularly with fellows and education officers regarding the daily activities

  • Provides administrative support to Fellowship Coordinator including scheduling of meetings, preparations of agenda, recording and maintain meeting minutes, and development of reports.

  • Assist with planning departmental annual events including press meet, recruitment, orientation, training, retreats, as well as various meetings and program-related events.  

  • Plan & conduct timely teachers’ training to Fellows and Community teachers in the field

 

 

Job Specification

 

  • Maintain confidential fellowship files and monitor records of fellow attendance for all required educational activities, including training and extra-curricular activities.

  • Review and evaluate applications for completeness; compile recruitment information, distribute applications, notify applicants of decisions for an interview.

  • Monitor and document the fellowship evaluation process.
