Job Description

The responsibilities for this position include:

  • Responsible for the architecture, design and development of high volume web service applications.
  • Extensive knowledge in PHP (LAMP stack)
  • Able to code in a Wordpress environment and develop and/or update code for themes and plugins.
  • JavaScript and JQuery experience.
  • Responsible for choosing and implementing appropriate data stores to support these efforts.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements in order to develop appropriate applications.
  • Technically lead a team of more junior developers from design through release.
  • Prepare business and technical documentation.
  • Responsible for creating re-useable processes that help implement each solution.

Job Specification

  • 3+ years of work experience in IT applications development
  • Object oriented development is a plus.
  • Experience leading technical teams from design through the delivery life cycle.
  • Experience with software development processes and methodology.
  • Experience with Internet technologies and online advertising is a huge plus.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and manage time efficiently.
  • Deadline focused, detail oriented, well organized and self motivated.
  • Bachelor’s Degree In Computer Science, Engineering or Math with equivalent experience
