Liaison Officer (1): SOS Vocational Training Center, Pokhara
The Liaison Officer will be responsible for monitoring, coordinating and communicating strategic objectives of VTC. In doing so, s/he should support strategic partnerships by providing quality advice, facilitating effective knowledge management, and providing technical support. The primary function is to collaborate and communicate successfully with other entities outside of the VTC and to develop and foster relationships with the community and stakeholders.
Qualification, Experience and Skills: Master’s Degree in any discipline from recognized educational institution. S/he is required to have excellent leadership, coordination, and information management skills. S/he should have strong background in data collection, analysis, presentation and experience in producing high-quality reports. S/he must have an ability to establish and nurture beneficial business relationships and capability to negotiate with and influence others.
Candidates should have good command in English and Nepali languages (both writing and speaking). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package, email and internet is a must. Experience of working with children and young people will be an added advantage. Candidates are expected to have excellent interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
