Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • University degree in Agricultural Science, preferably in agronomy or horticulture,
  • At least 3 years work experience, particularly in the field of participatory approaches, FFS methodology development, facilitation and implementation.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written in English and Nepali
  • Good reporting skills in both program and financial reporting.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage critical relationships with diplomacy and tactful to engage a wide range of stakeholders including the, institutional partners, government officials, and peer organizations
  • Ability to create and encourage a climate of team-working and collaboration in a multicultural environment,
  • Previous working experience with NGOs with community focus programmes will be considered an advantage
  • Willingness and ability to travel independently and live in marginal living condition
  • Computer proficiency in Windows environment (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Holding valid motorbike license
  • Should be a Nepali citizen
