We are exclusive partner of German multinational organization, DB Schenker for Nepal and have been providing high class, customer-friendly services in the field of global freight forwarding, custom clearance and shipping from/to Nepal to anywhere in the world working in close liaison with various transport service providers like shipping, air cargo, road cargo, trade bodies, export promotion councils and other nodal agencies.

Key Position Information
Position Title: Executive - Sales
Position Reports To: Lead, Corporate Sales
Position Location: HQ, Lalitpur
Position Purpose/Job Summary

The main purpose of the position is to discover and pursue new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction. It includes discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Decision Making Authority: Under guidance of line manager
Networking, Coordination & Relationship

  • Internal: Customer Service, Operations, Finance, Pricing, HR/Admin    
  • External: Existing & Potential Clients/Service providers

Responsibilities
Recommending Solutions

  • Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
  • Understands market and customer requirements and present appropriately;
  • Conducts daily sales visits with a target of minimum of 5 clients per day;
  • Plans and prioritizes sales visits as per their urgency;
  • Responds to all emails and phone enquiries with the professionalism;

Building Relationship and CR Management

  • Maintains relationship with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending
  • Acquires new clients and retain existing ones (locally, nationally and internationally);
  • Executes business received from customers and maintaining regular correspondence about the executed shipments;
  • Maintains a strong client relationship and resolve any disputes or issues which may arise with clients;

Reporting &  Documentation

  • Prepares and submit timely report on sales activities (daily, weekly basis or as specified) to the Line Manager;
  • Prepares and submit individual volume projection & target achieved on a monthly basis to the Line Manager;
  • Liaises with the Pricing Department to prepare quotations for clients & negotiate if required;
  • Liaises with the Accounts Department to follow up on client payments; Informs
  • Accounts department in writing at all times on customer’s payment status

Maintains Professional/Technical Knowledge

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge which are given during trainings and workshop organized by organization

Meet Individual/Team Target

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related result as needed. Also plan and organize to meet Individual target as designed by the company.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor Level passed is required.
  • Master’s Degree in any discipline (Preferable)

Knowledge

  • Good understand about market and customer requirements and present appropriately,
  • Ability to manage and maintain relationships with local and international clients,

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years work experience in a sales & marketing,
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with proficiency in verbal/written English,
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team,
  • Must possess two wheeler driving license,
  • Should be adaptive to market trend and demand
