Job Description

Admin and Finance Officer :based in Kathmandu 1, Sindhupalchowk 1 and Rasuwa 1. Job Duration: One year contract renewable

These are middle level positions in the CSRC team who are responsible for maintaining books of accounts and ensuring financial credibility of the project. S/he reports to the Programme Coordinator.

a. Areas of Responsibilities
The Admin and Finance Officers are responsible for proper accounts keeping of the Cash for Work project. S/he ensures complete compliance of CSRC financial policies and administrative procedures of the project. S/he produces financial reports as required by CSRC management and funding partners in an accurate and timely manner. S/he maintains systematic inventory records of the project assets and goods.

b. Experiences and Skills
The applicants must have: i) at least three years practical experience in accounts keeping; ii) proven expertise in financial reporting; iii) expertise in financial monitoring and controlling; and iv) carried out administrative work.
 
Desired skills of the applicants include; good understanding of internal control mechanisms, systematic knowledge to prevent risks in financial management, good knowledge about accounting software, good knowledge about human resources management including records keeping, good knowledge about laws and policies pertaining to taxation, procurement, among others.
 
c. Academic Qualifications
This position requires minimum Bachelors degree in accountancy or financial management.
