Major Responsibilities:
The Senior Specialist develops and executes communications strategies that support field programs in Bhutan, India, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Nepal and Pakistan that are part of WWF’s AHM Project. He/she serves as the primary liaison between field teams, Project Manager and WWF-US’ communicator. The work of this position drives the overall success of WWF’s communications regarding AHM programmatic work.
Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in Mass Communications, Development Communications or a relevant field with 6 years of experience in conceptualizing, developing, implementing and managing communications strategies.He/she should be able to demonstrate a growing communications expertise built on strategic and creative communications. Experience in regional communications will be an advantage.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills is required with capability to build relationships in a complex environment.

To keep up with the evolving face of conservation and environmental movement, WWF Nepal’s focus progressed from its localized efforts in conservation of single species in 1960s, integrated conservation and development approach in 1990s, to a new horizon of landscape level conservation encompassing national, regional and global scales of complexity in early 2000s.
