Program Development Officer


Major Responsibilities:

The Program Development Officer will help support WWF Nepal's program development and fundraising portfolio. Under the supervision of Deputy Director – Program Development and Monitoring s/he will work in close coordination with other departments, field programs and partners to develop concept notes and proposals that are in line with emerging funding trends and donor requirements. His/her responsibility shall include substantial time spent at WWF Nepal's field project locations to interact with project managers and communities to support project development opportunities.  

Qualifications: 
A Bachelor's degree in Environment Science, Management or a related field with at least three years of development sector experience in fundraising, marketing and developing proposals is required. It is essential that the individual possesses excellent technical writing skills essential for developing project proposals and the ability to comprehend and interpret proposal development guidelines. Public relations and marketing skills will be of an added advantage.
