Job Description

Minimum Work Requirements:

Knowledge: A Bachelor’s or a Masters in Natural Resource Management, Environment Management and other related field.

Experience: At least 5 years of field experience in the implementation and management of which at least 2 years must be in natural resource management projects. Proven experience of independently handling M&E work of projects of over USD 1 million per year. It is essential that the individual is technically proficient and qualified in the field of monitoring and evaluation. Experience of working with other GEF projects will be an added advantage.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and excellent communication skills that include report writing, presenting the monitoring results, and making presentations

  • Knowledge of data storage and analysis is a must and experience in SPSS would be an advantage.

  • Excellent cross-cultural and people skills and ability to interact with government, and NGO staff

  • Adaptive Management Skills

  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
