Major Responsibilities:
The Program Associate –Wildlife Trade Monitoring will help plan, implement and manage the project and program activities of anti-poaching and illegal trade control under Wildlife Trade Monitoring Unit, WWF Nepal. S/he is responsible for the implementation of anti-poaching and anti-trafficking activities in TAL, SHL and other National Priority areas with a special focus in mountain areas.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in Forestry, Environment Science or related field and sound knowledge of Protected Ares System, Species Conservation, Wildlife Crime issues and Community based Conservation is required. The incumbent should have at least 2 years’ working experience in species related issues. Proven experience working with governments, aid agencies, civil society, and NGOs is required.
