M. Sc. in Food Technology or Chemistry or Microbiology .
More than 5 years of work experience as Microbiologist or QM Chemist with minimum two years of experience at managerial post in a reputed brewery.
Adequate knowledge of Microbiological and Analytical Chemistry required for Brewery Laboratory.
Make sure timely preparation & monitoring of all WC reports and to report for any deviation from the set Standards.
Make sure all the ITC apparatus are well calibrated according to time schedule & record it in prescribed format
Make sure satisfactory results of third parties' laboratory validation schemes (BAPS chemistry, BAPS Microbiology, IBPT, IWPT etc.)
Carrying outanalysis according to sampling plan and instruction given in Laboratory Manuals as per the schedule and to record the results in regular format.
Carrying out raw, auxiliary & packaging material analysis upon receipt from supplier.
Monitor the taste testing session daily as per the instruction & assist if necessary.
Ensure the timely sampling and analysis of tests according to the production schedule.
Record the analysis results in Nepal Standard format regularly and ensure the fulfilment of Nepal Standard requirement To deal with NS inspector during brewery inspection in absence of divisional head.
Maintains optimum cleanliness & hygiene (Good House Keeping) of Laboratory area.
To carry out hygiene and house-keeping audit every week, make a report according to CB format and report to Divisional head.
Make sure of maintenance record of the traceability of all laboratory samples& raw materials.
Perform any other job assigned by divisional head pertaining to Quality Control.
