Job Summary
Plan and implement all aspects of the project’s objectives, initiatives for successful project implementation. Assist PD in all aspects of project implementation to achieve the objectives within budget and with a specified quality in a timely manner.
Work descriptions and Responsibility
Assist the Project Director in operations and administration of the project to ensure timely availability of relevant information;
Keep the Project Director informed on all matters that may be of importance to the company including market situation and project’s current performance and progress;
Assist Project Director during the selection of contractors including manufacturers / suppliers. Assist the PD in necessary procurement and contract management.
Liaise with relevant government agencies for permits, licenses and other matters for timely implement the project.
Maintain all the reporting requirements to all the stakeholders and assist the PD to prepare the reports.
Take a lead role in major procurements for the project, contract administration and project management and assist the PD in project controls.
Responsible to supervise and monitor the Head office and Site office Staffs working under engineering division and evaluate their performance and report to the PD.
Prepare regular and periodic progress reports, update progress and devise time and cost control mechanism for the project.
Perform regular and periodic site visits and, organize & conduct meetings with Consultant and other stakeholders as required.
Assist PD in decision making, prepare agenda, memos and its documentation. Assist PD in organizing meetings and prepare the proceedings.
Prepare project correspondences and payment memos as necessary.
Prepare and maintain the relevant documentation for payments to the Contractors, Suppliers and Consultants.
Ensure and assist PD that the project documents are complete, correct and documented appropriately.
Assist PD to monitor that all contractual, legal and project specific requirements are fulfilled.
Coordinate, liaise and assist the Site Coordinator and project team as necessary for project implementation.
Assist PD in preparing budget in coordination with Site Team.
Other duties as assigned by the Project Director.
Minimum qualification and Experience:
Bachelor degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with minimum 7 years’ experience in Hydropower Projects
OR Masters' Degree in Civil/Hydropower/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years’ experience in design or management of Hydropower Projects.
