Position: Senior Finance Officer

Responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Finance Department to support and meet business objectives including development, implementation, improvement and administration of strategies, policies and programs covering all aspects of financial management of the company. Responsible to develop financial policies, conduct financial analysis, prepare budget following the construction activities of the project being developed by the company and prepare financial statements. Reporting to this position are the staff of Finance Department.
Work descriptions and Responsibility
Budget forecasting and preparation;
Financial Planning and fund arrangements for the project;
Ensuring compliance of rules and regulations related to the department issued by the management as well as other regulatory bodies;
Responsible for developing and implementation of financial policies, procedures and plans; • Make plan for cost reduction & cost effectiveness without hampering the effective operation of the organization;
Coordinate with other departments for the formulation of overall policies for the organization and communicate the same with staffs;
Adhere to financial policies and budget;
Forecast, Prepare and manage cash flow for all project related activities and coordinate with shareholders and financing institutions as needed;
Control the flow of funds, care should be taken that the money of the organization is not misused;
Advise and assist PD on project related financial issues and remedies to maintain financial discipline;
Preparation of annual operation and capital budgets and submit the same to the managing director;
Forecast the financial results of the company based on past trends as and when required;
Maintain books of account of the Company in an up to date manner;
Responsible for supervision and monitoring of the activities of his staffs in the department;
Responsible for approving the transactions executed by the staffs;
Conduct financial risk analysis and advise PD with necessary measures for proper implementation of the project;
Conduct meetings with the shareholders and financial institutions to implement the financial agreements;
Prepare documents related to financial agreements;
Maintain accounts and prepare financial statements;
Devise management information system;
Make all arrangements for internal control and audits
Coordinate with other institutions for finance related matters on behalf of the company.
Other duties as assigned by the CEO. d. Reporting Sr. Finance Officer should report to the Chief Executive Officer.
Minimum qualification and Experience:
Chartered Accountant (CA) / Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) / Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/ Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and having minimum 5 years’ of relevant experience.
