Job Description

Helen Keller International (HKI), an international NGO working in nutrition and food security, in partnership with the USAID-fundedSustainable Action for Resilience and Food Security (SABAL) Program, is seeking applications from qualified, energetic and self- motivated Nepalese citizens for the following position.

Position: Health and Nutrition Officer (field based)

Description:

  • Responsible for the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting.
  • Provide technical support to PNGOs, schools, health facility and district health office to plan and implement program activities.
  • Conduct the health and nutrition review workshop at district in close coordination with governmentorganization, PNGO and team.
  • Coordination and collaboration with government counterpart to expand the health and nutrition component in the district.
  • Regular monitoring and follow up of the program and provide technical support to health facilities and FCHVs as required.

Education: 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or Nursing.

REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE:

Work experience:

  • 2-3 years of work experience in health/ nutrition and food security.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work in remote complex environment with multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in writing technical and programmatic reports.
