WOREC Nepal is seeking a dynamic and competent candidate to fulfill the position of Executive Director at Central Office based in Balkumari, Lalitpur.
Qualifications and Experience: Master’s or M. Phil. Or PhD in Social Sciences, Management, Economics, Rural Development or related field with good understanding of development sector, rights based approach, human rights concepts and mechanisms and 5-7 years working experience in program management and at least three years working experience in leadership position.

As one of the nation’s premier non-governmental organization working for the protection and promotion of human rights, the WOREC is dedicated to prevent violence against women, its causes and consequences, and to ensure economic, social and cultural well-being of women as well as other marginalized groups by promoting their access to rights and social justice. This highly visible role leads and directs 150 employees across the nation to ensure the WOREC goals and mission are achieved. Reporting to the Board, you will promote an inclusive, team-based culture centered on leading and empowering officers of WOREC. As the face of the WOREC, this role also cultivates and manages select donors. In addition to enhancing community presence through key media and community partner relationships, you will steward the local District Coordinators.
