Executive Director is responsible to lead and manage the overall campaign and projects of WOREC. S/he must have good understanding on and ability to advocate to protect and promote women’s rights and social justice. S/he has ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships both within and outside the organization. S/he will be responsible to coordinate and establish linkages with government agencies and other government and non- government stakeholders.

As one of the nation’s premier non-governmental organization working for the protection and promotion of human rights, the WOREC is dedicated to prevent violence against women, its causes and consequences, and to ensure economic, social and cultural well-being of women as well as other marginalized groups by promoting their access to rights and social justice. WOREC is the first organization in the country to introduce concept on safe migration as a tool for prevention of trafficking, and now with learning and experiences from the ground has been broadened within organization’s work frame including labor rights and right to mobility as key to prevent trafficking and slavery-like practices.

This highly visible role leads and directs 150 employees across the nation to ensure the WOREC goals and mission are achieved. Reporting to the Board, you will promote an inclusive, team-based culture centered on leading and empowering officers of WOREC. As the face of the WOREC, this role also cultivates and manages select donors. In addition to enhancing community presence through key media and community partner relationships, you will steward the local District Coordinators.
