Job Description
Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, plant and labor.
Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, production methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost
Making estimates of new and proposed product costs
Maintaining Cost Accounting System including internal controls
Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program and reconciles finished goods inventories Prepare, analyze and report monthly, quarterly gross margin/inventory/costing/plant operation etc. analysis to management
Support and assist internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, tax schedules and others Prepare and report on standard and actual costs for inaccuracies and other financial and variance analysis Other duties as assigned
Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data - Detail oriented
Proficiency in computer applications
Strong leadership and a good team player
