Job Description

Job Title: Industrial Relations and Human Resources Manager (1)

Essential:

  • Proven expertise in the field of Human Resources Management with over 15 years of experience working in an Industrial environment
  • Quick learner with an ability to work independently. Understands how feelings and emotions may impact on performance and controls emotions to minimize negative impact
  • Ability to work as a leader - Proactively shares information and learning with colleagues. Addresses conflicts or issues within the team in a positive and open manner. Provides clear feedback to team members
  • Personable Professional whose strengths include cultural sensitivity and an ability to build rapport with a diverse workforce in multicultural settings
  • Expertise in Customer Care, public relation and Industrial relation skills inclusive of corporate culture awareness Significant knowledge and experience in Labor Law/Act Excellent communication skills both verbal and writing with proven IT skills

Qualification:
- Minimum a Masters Degree from a recognized University
 

Desirable skills:
- Is determined despite frequent obstacles, tackles difficult problems and takes personal responsibility for reaching solutions. Seeks ways to improve overall performance levels to give higher levels of satisfaction to target groups - Looks objectively at every side of an idea or situation to ensure that all outcomes are thoroughly assessed before deciding on the appropriate course of action
- Addresses conflicts or issues within the team in a positive and open manner. Provides clear feedback to team members
- Identifies a pragmatic approach on machinery and human resources in order to get the job done quickly and effectively. Uses an awareness of the bigger picture along with common sense to interpret and implement policy is comfortable with ambiguity
