Job Description

Support for International Health and Family Planning Organizations 2 (SIFP02) is a cooperative agreement funded by USAID and implemented by Marie Stopes International Nepal/Sunaulo Parivar Nepal in 11 districts of Nepal from 2015 to 2019. MSN is a member of the Marie Stopes International (MSI) Global Partnership, which operates in over 38 countries worldwide. In Nepal, SIFP02 is a Family Planning Service Strengthening Program (FPSSP) and works for strengthening the FP services delivery system of DoHS/MoH to increase voluntary use of family planning services by increasing accessibility and availability of high quality comprehensive family planning services to the hard to reach, disadvantaged, migrants and adolescent population to achieve universal coverage in the districts and increase district level CYP.

We are looking for following people who want to embrace new ways of working, use their initiative, take on multiple tasks, be a team player, and deliver solid social and financial results to ensure we can expand our services to more men and women in Nepal. The positions require frequent travel to monitor project activities.

Clinical Services Manager 1 (Kathmandu based)

  • Ensure high clinical standards and client care in of SIFP02 supported sites
  • Technical guidance and support to project trained government staff
  • Conduct quality clinical audits
  • Monitoring and ensuring completion of activities outlined in the audit report
  • Planning/implementation FP service delivery including through outreach

Required : 

  • Medical Doctor with MBBS, preferably MD GP/MD gynecology
  • Registered in Nepal Medical Council
  • At least 3 years of experience in designing, implementing and monitoring clinical interventions of large scale projects, preferably related to family planning and funded by USAID
  • Interested in clinical/surgical practice and
  • management
  • Preferably trained and competent on NSV/Minilap
