Job Description
CMO reports directly to country managing directors and regional marketing heads. He/She will get to grow a dynamic team of 20 managers and their teams, build on their expertise and knowledge, and train the next generation of leaders by becoming an integral part of the senior management within the company.
Manage the marketing team across brand strategy, creative, content, media (owned, earned, paid), analytics, campaign management to develop and execute sales, branding and positioning initiatives across all channels:
Online: PR, Social Media, GDN incl. Youtube, KOL, digital partnerships, onsite
Offline: TV, OOH, print, radio, event sponsorship, partnerships
Work cross-functionally with commercial, product and operations teams to help devise, plan and implement successful and relevant marketing initiatives and campaigns
Optimize these campaigns through thoughtful testing, ultimately aiming to maximize acquisitions while considering LTV/CAC
Work collaboratively with Group marketing functions, analytics, and campaign management teams
Strengthen Daraz brand equity and positioning by identifying business development efforts and corporate partnership opportunities
Full ownership of Marketing P&L and budget
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in Marketing with an eCommerce company or digital media agency, and at least 5 years working experience
Experience leading multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns, including digital and traditional campaigns, Public Relations, and Business Development
Have a blend of creativity, brand vision, analytical expertise, out-of-the-box thinking, and the confidence to lead a highly talented, collaborative team
An understanding of PMO processes and communication, and an ability to work cross-functionally with different teams to implement solutions and execute campaigns
A results-driven leader and creative problem solver, who takes full ownership of their responsibilities
Strong contacts with agencies and media houses in Kathmandu
