Job Description

Required Experience and Competencies

• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, of which minimum 6 as a manager;
• Extensive experience guiding, coaching, and leading diverse teams working on sensitive and complicated issues;
• Committed to providing quality control in a constructive manner;
• Proven access to a wide network of relevant actors;
• Fluent in written and spoken Nepali and English. Knowledge of any major national language will be considered a distinct advantage.
• Demonstrated capacity to carry out high level analysis and writing;
• Demonstrated capacity to interact constructively and sensitively with actors at all levels and segments of society;
• Experience leading programme and communications teams with a solid understanding of programming and project cycles;
• Technical knowledge in two or more substantive areas related to accountable, responsive, and inclusive governance will be considered a distinct advantage;
• Experience working with both civil society and government as partners would be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated experience with advocacy work with a wide range of audiences;
• Demonstrated capacity to work dynamically as a team player and leader with an interest in working in a matrix management system; and
• Willingness to provide technical support to GF team members and partners.
