Job Description

Required Experience and Competencies

• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, of which at least 6 as a manager.
• Extensive experience guiding, coaching, and leading diverse teams working on sensitive and complicated issues.
• Committed to providing quality control in a constructive manner;
• Proven access to a wide network of relevant actors.
• Fluent in written and spoken Nepali and English. Knowledge of any major national language will be considered a distinct advantage.
• Demonstrated capacity to carry out high level analysis and writing.
• Demonstrated capacity to interact constructively and sensitively with actors at all levels and segments of society.
• Experience with preparing briefs, white-papers; think-pieces and presentations that go with it.
• Demonstrated experience as a researcher.
• Experience working with both civil society and government as partners would be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated capacity to work dynamically as a team player and leader with an interest in working in a matrix management system.
• Willingness to provide technical support to GF team members and partners.
