Implement project activities at field level as per approved plan of action and budgetunder the guidance of RUDEC chairperson/SCAI. The Program Manager will be the focal person of all the activities of the project being implemented in their working area. Rural Development and Empowerment Center (RUDEC), Nepal is a non-profit making, non political and non-governmental organization, established in 1997 A.D (2054 B.S.) and registered District Administration Office, Nuwakot. It is also affiliated with and registered in Social Welfare Council, NGO Federation Nepal and NGO Coordination Committee. RUDEC is the first and pioneer non-government organization (NGO) registered in Nuwakot district. The organization has well established logistic management for operating the organization at district head quarter at Bidur Municipality, Nuwakot. RUDEC was formed with the objective of wise utilization of local resources with enhanced capacity of local people which ensure the livelihood improvement opportunities for poor, deprived and destitute community people especially women, children, differently able people living in Nuwakot and its surrounding districts. Since its establishment, RUDEC has been working in Food Security, Education, Rural Infrastructure Development, Climate Change, Energy, Environment, Agriculture, Natural Resources Management, Drinking Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Health, Child Rights Human Rights, Peace and Democracy from funding support from different donor agencies for improving socio-economic and health condition of most deprived and disadvantaged people living in Nuwakot and its surrounding districts. It has adopted human right based approach through social mobilization and technical backstopping for strengthening service delivery mechanisms and promoting local technologies to address the poverty issues and also conserve and develop natural resources in order to foster sustainable development. In the process, RUDEC has carried out many targeted development activities focused on living condition of women, children, poor, deprived and disadvantaged communities by improving their basic services through basic social services (Education, Drinking water, Health, Hygiene and Sanitation) improvement and community infrastructure development in close coordination with local government authories.
