It invites application from Nepali citizens with an interest and experience in related fields for the following position for “Initiatives for Agriculture Productivity and Commercialization (IAPAC)” Project.
Nutrition and Training Officer- One
Major Responsibilities: The Nutrition and Training Officer will have overall responsibility for technical backstopping to partner to implement Nutrition component (A.5.1 and A. 5.2 activities). He/she will facilitate nutrition training as well as mobilize partner staffs in supervision of Project Coordinator and in close coordination with District Coordinators in different training events planned in the project. Responsibilities include supporting partners in assessing training needs, monitoring training delivery and ensuring that appropriate plan of action is prepared to apply newly gained skills. He/ She will maintain the database of beneficiaries getting different training from the project and monitors periodically to assess the utility of training. This position is also responsible to maintain electronic database of project information in formats designed in the monitoring and evaluation toolkit.
Competencies: Bachelor Degree in Nutrition or related subjects. At least 3-5 years experience in implementing the nutrition related activities, social mobilization in nutrition sector and developing training curriculum for nutrition at different levels. This position also has some M&E role and the prospective candidate is expected to have experiences in M&E including database management.
Location: Nutrition and Training Officer will be based in Nepalgunj with at least 40% travel to project sites in Banke, Dang and Rolpa districts.
