Finance Officer

Job Description

• Supervise the recording, classifying and summarizing of the financial transactions of the organization
• Analyze and interpret the organization’s financial statements and project financial reports and recommend courses of action to improve efficiency.
• Review and provide guidance and coaching on accounting, ensuring accuracy, correctness and completeness of transactions recorded.
• Ensure the timeliness of required financial reports
• Manage daily bank business such as cash / cheque deposit, cash withdrawal, collection of bank statement sheets
• Proper maintenance of both computerized as well as manual recording of financial transactions along with proper supporting documents
• Assist in the planning and budgeting for the programmes

Reqired : 

• Knowledge of accounting theory and financial analysis and experience in financial reporting
• Good understanding of development issues
• Good knowledge and skills in accounting, assets management & administration
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Excellent English & Nepali communication skills (oral and written)
• Proficiency in computer applications including use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Have positive learning attitude
• Have high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident, and independent
