Working out designs formulate for a group of samples.
Maintaining up to date knowledge of new design and production techniques.
Developing new designs concepts.
Consulting with clients to determine their needs and performances, such as specific colors or fabric.
Researching products and assessing fabrics and samples.
Analyzing competitor’s products and designing new products that improves upon previous Designs.
Accurately interpreting and representing client’s ideas.
Testing and deciding on fabrics, colors, patterns and texture for each design.
Creating detailed sketches of designs to be used as the basis for finished products.
Job Specification
Good communication and team working skills.
Ability to work to deadline and a budget.
A good eye for color, texture, fabrics and patterns.
An interest in fashion and textiles and an understanding of trends and materials.
Understanding and experience of using different textile process and techniques.
In – depth knowledge of designing.
Strong time management skills.
Superior knowledge of designing principles.
