Job Description

. Key Responsibilities:

The CML is overall responsible for implementing Clinical Governance in his/her Cluster in accordance with all GWT(N) Standards of Medical Service delivery, Quality Standards, Disease Management Guidelines, professional standards, Policies and Procedures. S/he is responsible for the Clinical Outcome of all patients under the care of the Cluster’s Mobile Health Practitioners, Cluster Doctors and Cluster Rehabilitation Therapists. The role involves direct patient care in clinics and home visits, frequent travel within the region, integrated care planning, liaison with external providers and various professional groups and direct line management of 10 – 20 staff members of different medical professions.

Job Specification

. Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills: 

  • Must have qualified as a Medical Doctor (MBBS or equivalent) with minimum 5 years work experience post-graduation. Additional Post Graduate qualifications (MD in GP or Internal Medicine) preferred.
  • Current unrestricted registration with Nepal Medical Council (NMC).
  • Working knowledge and application of relevant Country legislation governing Medical Service Delivery.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, paying careful attention to detail and managing multiple tasks.
  • Able to work effectively with both medical and non-medical staff.
  • Showing proactiveness and solutions focused.
