Support to Finance officer for day to day financial activities, prepare monthly reporting and visit different projects to support bookkeeping, good records and financial monitoring.
Line Manager:
Responsible to the Finance officer.
Job Responsibilities:
Support to raise vouchers according to the accounting software with adequate supporting documents.
Support to pay all authorized bills received.
Support to pay all staff salaries and expense and keep the staff salaries record up to date.
Issue advance payment to partners as and when authorized and to check their account details regularly.
Deal with the bank regarding fund transfer draft for partners.
Calculate the cost of material sent to and received from the project and charge to the projects accounts.
Make regularly visit to check, support and reconcile the accounts between NEWAH regional office and project accounts.
Ensure account book keeping system of partners according to provided guide line.
Reconcile the inventory record between NEWAH regional office and project record.
Update the audit queries for adequate supporting documents with the committees / project staffs (signed by responsible persons, official stamp, tax deduction, expenditure update and approved from WSUC's meetings, return copy of inventory books to NEWAH at the end of the project period etc).
Support to update accounts at the end of the project in all project sites to satisfy all the concerned stakeholders.
Support other financial work as instruction by line manager.
Person's Specification:
Intermediate in commerce with at list 2 years of experience in similar works.
Good communication skills in both English and Nepali (both written and Verbal).
Very good time management skills.
Computer skill.
