To Support the Finance Coordinator for day-to-day financial activities, assist in preparing monthly reports and visit different projects to support book-keeping and financial monitoring.

Job Responsibilities
Support to prepare vouchers according to the accounting software (FAMAS) with adequate supporting documents.
Support to pay all authorized bills received.
Support to pay all staff salaries and expenses and keep the staff salaries record up to date.
Issue advance payment to staff, Water and Sanitation Users Committee (WSUC) as and when authorized and to check their account details regularly.
Deal with the bank regarding fund transfer from HQ and to Water and Sanitation Users Committee (WSUC).
Calculate the cost of material sent to and received from the project and charge to the project’s accounts.
Make regular visits to check, support and reconcile the accounts between NEWAH province office and project accounts.
Ensure account bookkeeping system of WSUC according to provided guideline.
Update the audit queries for adequate supporting documents with the committees / project staff.
Support to update accounts at the end of the project in all project sites to satisfy all the concerned stakeholders.
Support and perform other financial work as instructed by line manager.
Person Specification
Academic Qualification and Experience
Minimum Intermediate/Higher Secondary in Commerce with at least three years of experience in accounting and finance sector. Preference to experience in development projects.
Others:
Proficient in Microsoft office package. Knowledge of handling FAMAS Accounting Applications
Good communication skills in both English and Nepali (both written and verbal)
Very good time management skills
Ability to work under pressure.
Duty Station and Working Condition
Sindhuli Province Office based with regular visits to project sites.
Probation Period: Six Months
