Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
Making entries of cash and bank transactions
Reconciling bank accounts on a monthly basis
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
Assisting in Inventory management
Analyzing and reporting of customer and vendor aging
Checking new vendor and customer PAN/VAT registration and address details.
Making entries of cash, bank,purchase, Tax related transactions
Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
Job Specification
Manage all accounting transactions
Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely bank payments
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Any additional work given by seniors as and when required
