Job Description

Salary: NRS. 365,244 gross p.a.

Location: Various location, Nepal

In Nepal, Restless Development has been working in the youth and adolescents development sector since more than 25 years. It is the recipient of several international and national awards. It works in formal partnership with Ministry of Youth and Sports. Restless Development Nepal has signed strategic partnership with UNICEF education to implement SAMBAV programme in 10 districts in Nepal. The overall goal of programme is “Girls and boys, particularly from marginalized communities, are supported to transition into and remain in school, improve their learning, and become empowered members of their communities.”

We are recruiting for 5 positions for this role, in a range of locations: Achham, Dadeldhura, Dolakha, Kalikot and Rautahat.

The successful candidate will support project implementation and advocacy, help with delivering capacity training to PNGOs, volunteers and other relevant stakeholders. They will also be expected to take the lead on the budget planning of lead district programmes in consultation with Programme Coordinators and contribute to the overall goals of the programme.

Essential Requriemnts : 

ï‚· Graduate-level degree in relevant area, or equivalent work or voluntary experience An interest and commitment to International Development issues and how
ï‚· Advocacy and campaigning in the UK can have an impact. Experience supporting and encouraging people to take action
ï‚· Experience in organizing events
ï‚· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
ï‚· Demonstrable administrative experience
ï‚· Ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet multiple deadlines
ï‚· Fluent written and spoken English and Nepali
ï‚· Good IT skills with competence in Word, Excel and PowerPoint essential
ï‚· A clear understanding of contemporary development issues and international trends on youth participations, Gender Based Violence, Education improvement programming
ï‚· Good Social Media skills essential
ï‚· Belief in the values of Restless Development and ability to uphold them
ï‚· Valid driving license (Motor bike/Scooter)
