Job Description

Birat Nepal Medical Trust (BNMT) is a non-profit making non-governmental organisation dedicated towards the improved health and wellbeing of Nepalese people.

BNMT is conducting a research project entitled "Epidemic Intelligence: Understanding how economic migrant waves drive SARS-CoV2 epidemic seeding and community transmission events in the South Asian context" project to be launched from mid-August 2021. In order to drive execution of the research project, BNMT is seeking a qualified, pro-active Post-Doctoral Researcher to join in BNMT Head Office, Kathmandu as per details below.

Positions: Post-Doctoral Researcher

No: 1

Minimum Qualifications and Experiences: Ph.D. in the relevant topic- ideally clinical Researcher epidemiology. Experience of sequencing, clinical epidemiology, pathogen genetics, statistical analysis would be an advantage. Between 2-5 years post-doctoral experience in health sciences as a senior researcher

Duration: Initially eight months with the possibility of extension. First, 3-months will be a probationary period.
