Job Summary
The Field Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day implementation of the project and for timely delivery of the project objectives as per the project plan in Rupandehi district. The Field Coordinator will also support the Regional Manager in the development of reports and case studies at the regional level.


Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Project Management

  •  Lead in the implementation of project activities as per the project plan in their respective district
  •  Identify the capacity development areas of partner organisations and design such initiatives in coordination with Regional Manager and other relevant departments in SFCG
  •  Facilitate training/workshops with a wide range of stakeholders at the District and VDC level


DM&E

  • Ensure that the partner’s deliverables are as per the plan
  • Develop M&E framework in consultation with DM&E department
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to carry out research/assessment and other M&E processes
  • Collect and feed Collect and feed monitoring data into SFCG’s monitoring system

Reporting

  • Develop and submit the quarterly narrative report on developments, activities and other relevant issues within the framework of the project
  • Prepare and submit Activity Brief Report on timely basis
  • Develop case studies and Success stories and submit it to Communications department on a periodic basis
  • Support the Regional Manager in the development of regional reports


Communications, Visibility and Representation

  • Identify and recommend feasible profile building activities in their respective district
  • Represent SFCG in respective district, as planned and agreed with the Regional Manager
  • Develop relationship with local government and other key stakeholders at district level


Coordination with Partner Organizations

  • Work closely with the partners to develop monitoring system and plans 
  • Ensure that M&E tools and system is being implemented by POs through frequent field visit and interaction with the regional team
  • Provide capacity building training and on-site coaching to the partner organizations to effectively implement the monitoring systems and documentation
  • Ensure deliverables are on time, on budget and meet project objectives
  • Support partners in developing project reports
  • Work with partners to coordinate DPAC meetings
