Job Description

Liaison to: District Program Coordinator (other districts)

Job purpose: To manage the implementation level of activities of Hamro Sikhshya project ensuring specific project strategies and activities are achieved as stated in the project document and the agreement with NCE Nepal

Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly plans for effective execution of the district project activities as stipulated in the project document.
  • Travel frequently to the schools of project areas and mobilise related stakeholders and beneficiary communities as per the project activities and agreement
  • Liaise between District Education Office and NCE Nepal in programme related matters and also liaise with other implementing partners of this project as and when necessary
  • Take full responsibility of financial and administrative management of district level Project activities
  • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly project report, field visit reports and progress reports and financial reports to NCE Nepal
  • Maintain coordination and linkage with various stakeholders at district level.
  • Guide and assign the district level project team to programme or management related works within the programme district/s.
  • Function as district unit supervisor (appointments, resignations, performance reviews) of the project staffs
  • Represent NCE Nepal at different levels of meetings, workshops as and when necessary
  •  Report to NCE Nepal through program coordinator about project activity

As a result, NCE-Nepal was formally established on 2010 as civil society movement to ensure the right to equitable, inclusive quality education for all.
