Job Description

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Public Policy, Gender and Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences or any other related field.

 Experience:

  • 5 years of progressively responsible research and programme experience (preferably in South Asia) is required at the national or international level;
  • Experience in working on policy advocacy with government stakeholders or experience working with SAARC or UN, particularly in program development in South Asia would be an asset;
  • Experience in usage of computers and MS Office software (MS Word, Excel, etc.) is required.

Language:

  • Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken;
  • Working knowledge of at least one South Asian language.

Visa Requirements:

  • International consultants are required to possess work visa prior to entry into the duty station.
