- Responsible for the safe and efficient operations associated with the Landing Zone.
- Responsible for the daily inspections of the Landing Zone, trolleys, chairs and Gear Retrieval System.
- Responsible for mounting the trolleys and chairs onto the track cables each day before operation and removing them after operation.
- Operate the communication system with Fly Deck and issue commands for the flying sequence.
- Responsible for checking that brake pad wear is within the acceptable range and that the chair lanyards are not twisted or tangled.
- Maintains a clear view of all operators and flyers during all times of operation on the Landing Zone.
- Confirm all operators remain within the designated safety zone to the side of the terminal braking area while customers are riding the Zip-Flyer.
- Fully understands all rescue procedures for the Zip-Flyer® and coordinate rescue efforts on the bottom half of the track cable.
- Maintains security of the Landing Zone and controls access to only operators and customers
