Job Description
Position Title : TV/Radio Associate Program Producer
Location : Antenna Foundation Nepal, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur
Salary: As mentioned in an appointment letter
Line Manager/reporting: Program Manager
Major Responsibilities:

Support supervisor to prepare the pre-summary of assigned radio programs as and when required
-
Support supervisor and producers to first draft of radio program script as and when required.

Perform editing, mixing and finalizing of radio programs as and when required.
-
Coordinate with AFN reporter in timely collection of voices from the field.

Prepare and update program update tracker of respective projects in provided format by M & E Coordinator or M & E Associate.

Assess the voices and SMS received in IVR and SMS system and transcribe them as per the need of the programs.

Assist supervisor to arrange the recording of radio programs in timely manner.

Participate in periodic meeting of radio programs.

Assist supervisor and producers to conduct research on guest, issues of weekly live call in show.

Be present in the live program of Antenna for phone handling, SMS and other program modes.

Report the program update to supervisor.

Be present in pre and post-production, advisory meeting and other meeting call by AFN.

Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor during office hours.
Key Requirements:
-
Bachelor degree in Communication/Management, development or other related field.
-
At least one year experience in related field.
-
Experience of coordinating and administrating subject preferably in media or communications related.

Demonstrated skill in planning and preparing reports.
-
Sound understanding of the media in Nepal would be an asset.
-
Fluency in Nepali and English with excellent writing skills in both languages.
