Team Leader (Level 8) - 1 (CSV Phase II Project, Based At Nawalparasi)
Local Initiatives for Biodiversity, Research and Development (LI-BIRD) is a non-profit making, non-governmental organization established in October 1995 with its Head Office in Pokhara. LI-BIRD is committed to capitalizing on local initiatives for sustainable management of renewable natural resources and improving livelihoods of rural people in Nepal.

Climate-Smart Villages (CSV) Phase II project is funded by CCAFS and being implemented in Bardiya, Mahottari, and Nawalparasi districts. The project aims to enhance national capacity for scaling up CSV approach for building community resilience to climate change in Nepal.

Job Summary: The Team Leader will be responsible for the overall management of CSV Phase II project. Major duties include: managing budget and human resource, providing technical guidance to the team, monitoring and evaluation of project, coordinating with policy makers, partners and stakeholders, ensuring greater synergy and resource leveraging with similar initiatives, preparation of progress reports and knowledge products, and monitoring and evaluation.

Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Agriculture, Climate Change, Environmental Science or Natural Resource Management or related field, with 3 years’ work experience in project management on related fields.
