Job Description

DESIGNATION: Supervisor-Quality, Environment, Health & Safety (QEHS)

REQUIREMENT: 1

JOB LOCATION: Hetauda

JOB DUTIES

  • Support in ISO mgmt, documentation work/training, Legal related work, EHS initiatives as well as ensure that rigorous risk assessment @ workplace
  • Perform IBU (International Business Unit) internal Safety audit, 5S audit/Plant Hygiene audit/Canteen audit & its documentation/reporting/follow-up/closing
  • Investigation on Accident/Incident including near miss in workplace, closing the findings with support of departments, Root Cause Analyis/Corrective action/Preventive action plan
  • Conducting meeting on Safety committee meeting and closing all the suggestions with follow-up
  • Organizing training to internal & external interested parties to aware & update about QEHS
  • Handle inspection, testing of FAS (Fire Alarm System), FHS (Fire Hydrant System) and other testing devices related to safety, its calibration, solving technical issues, handling vendors & updating the department head for status & needed support
  • Responsible for supervising assistants on Effluent Treatment Plant operation on daily testing activities, vendor dealing, waste management.
  • Responsible for PPE (Personal Protective Equipments) management
  • Full responsibility for depot safety management/audit/meeting & updation, if any new changes in requirement
  • Visual display, SOPs/Do & Don'ts; Mock drill etc.as a part of awareness
  • More control on work permit system for hazardous work (confined space, work at height, electrical work, excavation work & hot work) & check the work has been done as per assigned permit
  • Present EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) related information during visitors' visit

EDUCATION : Bachelor degree in Environmental science/Mechanical Engineering

EXPERIENCE : 2-3 years of work experience in the related field, Also freshers can also apply

AGE: Below 35 years

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledge of MS packages (word, excel, PowerPoint) & Photoshop
  • Preferred candidate having attended ISO 9001 Internal audit training and Specialization in Safety of OHS (Occupational Health Safety) training
  • Excellent command over English and Local language
  • Ability to build a strong rapport with internal customers
  • Strong Inter personal Communication skills, Team Player and committed performer
  • Driving license
