Job Description

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has been working in Nepal as a bilateral aid agency, undertaking development cooperation programs on the behalf of South Korean Government. KOICA is implementing various programs Projects, Dispatch of Volunteer and Fellowship Programs.

KOICA is looking for an experienced and qualified Nepali nationals to fill the following positions.

Position: Receptionist

Contract Duration: Until March 31, 2020 from the appointment date (3 months' Probation, Renewable after performance review)

Duty Station: KOICA Nepal Office, Jwagal, Lalitpur

Office Hours: Full-Time (09:00-17:00), Monday to Friday

Job Responsibilities:

  • Front desk management (receiving guests, phone calls, email, faxes)
  • Logistic management (official travels and workshops)
  • Staff schedule management
  • Secretarial support
  • Handling of office petty cash
  • Ensure smooth functioning of office equipment's (computers, printer, internet, projector, laptop, intercom, telephone, stationary items etc.)

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any discipline
  • At least two years of work experience in NGO/ INGO
  • High level of competence in business communication skills and commitment to customer service with a smile
  • Proficient English and Nepalese language skills (speaking and writing)
  • Appropriate computer skills (MS word, Excel, Power point, and Outlook)
  • Nepali Citizen with good health condition.

This position is required to manage multi-tasking duties attention to details and have good sense of interpersonal skills. Applications from differently abled people is encouraged for the above position.
