Playing movies, trailers and commercials on flat/scope on automated digital projectors
Receiving and sending film content, projection related documents, hard-drives, usb memory sticks and commercial/trailer to the specified destination
Training and developing the team members and ensuring that they are being updated with our new systems and technologies
Coordinating with facilities DOs and Manager regarding show time
Programming of projector systems according to our pre-defined system and in coordination with marketing department
Should ensure that all audio / visual and cinema auditorium equipment / appliances and projectors are running smoothly and informing the technicians and get it fixed instantly if found any problems
Responsible for ensuring that commercial Blocks according to the Parental Guidance Suggestion is shown once it is received through IT/Distribution department
Responsible for preparing the effective roster of the projectionist staffs of QFX cinemas of Ktm and ensuring that staffs are well mobilized as per the need of facilities thereby maintaining minimum overtimes
Undertaking special projects or task as assigned by supervisor
Developing SOPs and checklist for running Projection department and implementing it in all of our QFX auditorium.
Checking the validation of KDM and ensuring that they are being renewed on timely manner in coordination with Distribution department
Should be involved in research and technologies related to projection department and bringing new concepts and ideas on cost benefit analysis that would enhance the current projection system of the company. A report to be prepared on its implication and to be shared to the reporting Manager
Be in regular connection with technician from our real image team and interact with them about new updated software and technologies and ensure its applicability in our existing system
Job Specification
Should have good Hardware and Networking skills
Computer skills: MS-Word, MS-Excel, Email, Internet
Excellent customer service skill
Excellent communication skill both verbal and written in Nepali and English
Should be willing to be trained as needed, result oriented, self-motivated, meticulous, diligent and systematic
Should have trouble shooting capacity and take ownership of one’s responsibilities
Should be willing to work in any responsibility and facility within the QFX Cinemas
