Job Description
This is a senior-level role to drive and extend NCHL’s product line related to financial products, card switch and card schemes projects. He/ She shall be responsible for implementation and managementof national card switch and domestic card scheme (part of National Payment Switch project) related product line and its use cases. He/she shall be responsible to lead and coordinate internally and externally for execution of the project.
Job Specification
At least University degree in Engineering/ Science/ IT or related field. Masters preferred.
At least 10 years of relevant experience with not less than 5 years of experience in deployment and configuration of card switch, card scheme or card business.
Demonstrated ability to manage strategic projects with ability to understand complex technical concepts and business processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills expected. Prior experience in project management with professional certification will be preferred.
Expertise in card switch, card operations and different products/ schemes including e-commerce, POS, ATM, contact & contact less cards of different payment networks.
Prior experience in PCI DSS implementation will be an added advantage.
Ability to manage and coordinate with network participants, related vendors and technology partners.
Detail-orientated individual who can lead teams to work under deadline and target pressure in a team-oriented collaborative environment with ability to translate such technology into products/services.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with ability to effectively deliver information to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

NCHL has initially implemented and operated NCHL-ECC System in Nepal offering banks and financial institutions with an electronic medium of cheque clearing and will later establish a national payments gateway to facilitate electronic payments & financial transactions across banks and financial institutions within the country. Electronic Cheque Clearing (NCHL-ECC) System provides means to electronically transfer cheque images through a secure medium thus completely replacing the traditional physical routine of moving paper-cheques among the banks and clearing house, which has resulted in significant reduction of tedious and time consuming manual process of cheque clearing, both for the banks and for the customers.
