Job Description

Municipal Association of Nepal (MuAN) invites applications for the following position. S/he is responsible for project designing, planning, organizing and controlling (monitoring and evaluation) program activities, documentation and reporting under the direction of Executive Secretary.

Position: Program Officer

Experience & Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Development Studies, Urban/Rural Development, Management or equivalent.
• Motivated and ability to lead program and advocacy section of the organization.
• Coordination skills to strengthen relations with municipalities, ministries, development partners and stakeholders.
• Experience of policy analysis on local governance and develop and implement advocacy plans and programs.
• Capacity to explore funding sources and partners, design and implement programs in line with goals and objectives of the organization.
• At least 3 years of practical working experience in the field of local/urban governance, project management or relevant field.
