Job Description

Local Governance Initiative and Network (LOGIN) is a multi-stakeholder knowledge exchange platform that supports greater decentralization and strengthened local governance in South and East Asia. Municipal Association of Nepal (MuAN), assuming the role of LOGIN Secretariat of Nepal. is recruiting in the position of Country Facilitator (part time) for the duration of May - December 2016.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure knowledge management, documentation of the learning initiatives and to follow up with member institutions to share knowledge maps.
• Work as a link and mediator between members and LOGIN Secretariat.
• Develop program, plans, budget of Nepal Country Chapter- LOGIN Asia and present in the country chapter meetings.

Required Qualifications

• Masters degree with 5 years of experience in local governance and decentralization, preferably having Ph. D with sound experience in the sector.
• Experience of networking, developing partnerships, results based planning, and managing relations with relevant stakeholders.
